Recently completed a brand new piece for Dublin Canvas of Phil Lynott in his hometown, Crumlin. It’s called ‘One of our own’ to reflect Phil’s proud Irish identity. In the background, I used the colours of the Irish flag, turning it on its side so that the gold in the flag became a halo around him, his beautiful hair and his brilliant brain. It also reflects the massive respect Irish people have for him. A true Dublin legend!
